Today is Mine
What made the days longer had to do with the way we were treated, the things that were said about us (my crew and I). I really don’t wish to repeat these things. I thought this week would be better, but it wasn’t. I had a confrontation with one of my co-workers on Monday and then yesterday, I had to send him home after his refusal to do any form of work. All the ill talk continued and that just continued to fuel my hatred of my job and the people I work for. It’s one of those situations where you work your ass off to only be told your too slow, you’re lazy, your worthless and still expected to work your ass off.
I came home and I felt so defeated and had no energy or will to come to work. Then in the middle of the night were were woken up by a fire alarm and sirens. There was no fire, it was a false alarm, but it was the last straw. I decided to take a personal day. I don’t care how much work was needed to be done today, I had to take this day for myself or I really don’t know what would have happened.
Still not looking forward to work and really should look for a better job. I am worth much more than this place realizes, but I’m at the point where I don’t care if they ever know that. I’m done with them.
Hopefully next time you see me, I’ll be in a better mood.
